Revolutionary War Presentations
"Give me liberty or give me death!" shouted Patrick Henry. What profound words those turned out to be, taken seriously by many. Can you comprehend how many lives were sacrificed so you can enjoy the liberties you so enjoy today? This Revolutionary War Presentation will take you on a journey to find out how our country fought for and paid dearly for the freedoms that are now guaranteed in our constitution. So put on your knickers, dust off your three-corner hat, and get ready to become a rebel!
You and your group will research an event from the revolutionary war time period. You will create a PowerPoint presentation so the rest of the class will learn its historical importance and significance and its impact on our life today. You may download the Revolutionary War PowerPoint template to use to begin creating your presentation. It already has headings for the important components of your presentations. WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED: Email the PowerPoint to Ms. Nelson at [email protected] so you can present tomorrow in class! |

For example, "about.com" is not as credible as "www.history.com" because the second one is created by professors and paid historians, while we do not get authors' names from "about.com".
